Testimonials

"I enjoyed every bit of the experience starting from the meeting point, the matatu ride, the meetings where we got to share a lot, the games, the refreshments and also the facilitators were so friendly that they just made me feel like i belong in that place and that i was not going to be ridiculed or condemned just for being myself."

I was reminded of my awkward younger self and I realised all over again how precious she is to me, and how much I have got to take care of her. Just how selfish I have to be to make sure I don’t eventually lose her.

"What I enjoyed most was a fun game that to me was an eye opener that taught me a moral lesson that it is important to seek help from others since I can't handle everything by myself. That was something that I had struggled with for sometime."

I enjoyed the lesson-learned section, after the maze-experience, above all other activities. The moment when we gathered to talk about the experience was heart-breaking. Heart breaking in a beautiful way. My mind was shattered. Everything I was holding up in my mind and heart before was not wholly correct. For a moment, my mind stopped racing and I paused to think about Life. “Life doesn’t have to drain me out. I have a helper.” That session resonated with me. This was me everyday battling with life, being helpless, and crying my eyes out. When we talked about the maze…I felt it so heavy on my heart that The burden of life is not for me to carry alone. I literally have someone to carry all my burdens and I don’t have to be disappointed because I have Him- God(all three in one- all of Him) journing with him. That experience was all my heart yearned for.
